MONDAY MIXTAPE

From now on there's gona be some regular posting on here, and to kick things off we're going to have a monday mixtape feature, bringing you a new mix every week from either one off our own foxordog ninja death squad, or hitting you some with some sounds from something thats caught our ears.

The first monday mixtape comes via Aquasky (I did think about making it an AtoZ since we're starting on A, but I know I'd never stick to that). When this dropped in my inbox, i wasnt sure what to expect, but was very pleasently suprised. This a cracking mix from a very established act and not to be missed.

HOSTAGE SITUATION

I've really been get into the dilicious noisisms that Hostage has been kicking for a bit now. It was actually just this saturday that on our trip to Push in Birmingham as Fox or Dog we dropped not only his bangin edit of Dancing in the Dark, but also one of my favourites at the moment, Blockhead. Both went down shockingly well, as Hostage tracks usually do.

First a brand new track, Guttony, which comes in the Original, a Felix Cartal remix, a choice cut from those fabulous noisy Italians The Bloody Beetroots.

JIMSKI BEAT

This will be the first proper post on this blog really, and I thought I'd share with ya'll a producer whose pretty unknown, Jimski.

Jimski actually found me on my myspace and I liked what I heard when I had a listen to the tunes. This one is in that distortion-french-electro-style kind of thing and I think the production promises. Theres more to come from this guy, and I've been promised more work in the pipeline, so watch this space!
